Diagnosis
Head transverse, 0.6X as high as wide; antennal scrobes join below frontal suture; male flagellum with a 2-segmented clava; mesoscutum with midlobe with raised and strong reticulation, sidelobes with engraved and weak reticulation; scutellum with engraved and very weak reticulation; mesoscutum with midlobe golden-green with blue tinges, sidelobes golden-reddish, scutellum golden-reddish; propodeal callus with 6-7 setae; femora golden-green, tibiae yellowish-brown; female gaster short, MM/LG = 1.1, and round.

Biology
From eggs of Catocephala (formerly Dirphia) amphimone (Lepidoptera: Saturniidae) and Macromphalia dedecora (Lepidoptera: Lasiocampidae).
Similar species in Lucid key
lius, but ancillus with mesoscutum with sidelobes with engraved reticulation, femora golden-green, propodeal callus with 6-7 setae.
